Finished Size: 54" x 58"
Materials: Dazzleaire; 9 skeins Vanilla, 5 skeins Mocha, 5 skeins Country Peach.
Needles: Size H crochet hook or size to reach gauge below.
Gauge: Finished motif measures 6" by 6"
Instructions
Motif (make 64): Center; with Vanilla, ch 18.
Row 1: (right side); Sc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in same ch, ch 1, (sk 2 ch, sc
in next ch, dc in same ch, ch 1) 4 times, end sk 2 ch, sc in last ch, dc in same
ch. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: (Sc in ch 1 sp, dc in same sp, ch 1) 5 times; sc in top of ch 2, turning
ch, dc in same ch. Ch 2, turn.
Rows 3-14: Rep row 2; omit ch 2, at end of row 14. Fasten off.
Motif Border:
Rnd 1: With right side facing, join Mocha in any corner st of motif center, ch 3
(stands for dc), 4 dc in same st as joining, (work 14 dc evenly spaced across
side, 5 dc in corner st) 3 times; work 14 dc across last side, join with sl st
in top of beg ch 3. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: Join Country Peach in any corner st, * 3 sc in corner st, sc in next st,
(yo, draw lp under post of next st) 3 times, yo, draw through 6 lps, yo, draw
through 2 lps - puff around post completed, sc in next 14 dc, puff around post
of next st, sc in next st, rep from * around, join with sl st in first sc.
Fasten off.
Finishing: Place motifs 8 across and 8 down. With Country Peach, jin motifs
using tapestry needle and overcast st in back lp.
Afghan Border:
Rnd 1: With right side facing, join Country Peach in corner st. Ch 3 (stands for
dc), 4 dc in same st as joining, * work dc along side, spacing sts to keep work
flat; work 5 dc in corner st; rep from * twice more, dc along remaining side,
join with l st in top of beg ch 3. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: With Mocha, rep round 1. Fasten off.
