Motifs measure 11 1/2 inches square and can be
joined in arrangement desired for tablecloth or for bedspread. Medium size table
or single bed (about 71 x 105 1/2 inches—54 motifs) requires about 57 balls
(about 125 yards each) Lily Mills Yarn - Sugar ‘n Cream 100% Cotton Yarn.
Large table or double bed (about 94 x 105 1/2 inches —72 motifs) requires
about 76 balls. Use crochet hook size 00.
Abbreviations: st (stitch) ch (chain) sc (single crochet) dc (double crochet)
tr (treble) lp (loop)
sp (space) sk (skip) sl st (slip stitch) rnd (round)
Motif: Ch 8, join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (count as dc), 15 dc in ring, join
with sl st to top of ch 3—16 dc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st as sl st, 2 dc in
each st around, join—32 dc.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st as sl st (corner), * dc in each of next 3 dc, ch 7,
sk 1 dc, dc in each of next 3 dc, 3 dc in next dc (another corner), repeat from *
twice, dc in each of next 3 dc, ch 7, sk 1 dc, dc in next 3 dc, join.
Rnd 4: Sl st into center st of corner, ch 3, 2
dc in same st, * ch 3, sk 4 dc, 9 dc in ch 7 lp (base of pineapple), ch
3, sk 4 dc, 3 dc in next dc, repeat from * 3 times, end last repeat with

Block motifs to measurements.
Picking up back lps of sts only, sew
motifs together in shape desired.

Rnd 1: Join yarn in any ch 3
corner sp, (ch 3, dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in same sp * dc in each dc and 2 dc in each sp to
next corner, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in corner sp, repeat from *
around, join to top of beginning ch 3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * 5 dc
in ch 3 corner sp, dc in each dc to next
corner, repeat from * around, join, fasten off. Press lightly.
