Pattern: Chain as much as you want, first row double crochet across, chain 3. In the first "bar" next to the chain go behind and do a double crochet (the hook and "bar" should intersect each other). Next two "bars" do regular double crochet. Next two "bars" go behind and do as the first. Keep doing this until the end of row. Now wherever you did a regular double go behind, and vice versa.
