Crochet Patterns - Lattice Shawl

Size: Shawl is approximately 60" long and 20" wide
Materials: 9 skeins (2.5 oz each) Caron Dazzleaire (any ww yarn will work); Size I crochet hook; Tapestry needle.
Pattern: Ch 74
Row 1: In 5th ch from hook, trc, ch 1, trc (lattice made). * Skip 2 ch, lattice in next ch. Repeat from*across, ending with skip 2 and 1 trc in last ch. Ch 4, turn.
Row 2:: Work lattice in next ch-1 space - across, ending with trc in top of turning chain.
Repeat Row 2 until desired length. Do not finish off. Ch 1, turn.
Row 1: (Right Side =RS) Sc in 1st sc. Sc in top of each trc across. (48 sc).
Working along sides of trc,. 3 sc in sides of each trc across.
Working around and along opposite end, sc in 1st sc, sc in space before next trc of Row 1, and sc in next chain of beginning chain where first two trc meet . *Sc in space before next trc, sc in next ch of beginning chain where next two trc meet. Repeat from* across, ending with sc in top of turning chain.
Repeat instructions for working along sides of trc for remaining edge.
Row 2: Sc in first 2 sc. *Chain 3, 5 dc in first chain of ch-3 just made. Remove hook from loop. Insert it into top of 1st dc just worked. Draw loop through with a slip stitch. Sc in next 5 sc. Repeat from * Sc in each of the last 2 sc. Finish off
RS, Opposite end: Attach yarn to first sc on opposite end of shawl. Ch 1, sc in same st and in next sc. Chain 3, 5 dc in first chain of ch-3 just made. Remove hook from loop. Insert it into top of 1st dc just worked. Draw loop through with a slip stitch. Sc in next 5 sc. Repeat from * Sc in each of the last 2 sc. Finish off. With tapesty needle, weave in all ends.
