Crochet Patterns - Eyeglass Case

Materials: Worsted Weight Crochet Cotton; Size G hook; Button
Leaving about an 18 inch of yarn for tail, Ch 25, join to form a ring, ch 1,
turn.
Row 1: Sc in same chain as joining, and in each chain around.
Repeat Row 1 until case measures long enough to fit your glasses Join
with sl st, ch 1, turn
FLAP
Row 1: Sc in each of the next 10 scs, ch 1, turn
Row 2: Sc in each 10 across, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc decrease over next 2 sts, sc in each of the next 6 sts, sc dec
over last 2 sts, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn.
Row 5: Sc dec over next 2 sts, sc in each of the next 4 sts, sc dec over
last 2 sts, ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Sc in ea ch st across, ch 1, turn.
Row 7: Sc dec over the next 2 sts, sc in each of the next 2 sts, sc dec
over last 2 sts, ch 1, turn
Row 8: Sc in each st across, ch 1, turn.
Row 9: Chain 6 for button hole.
Row 10: Sc around the flap and top of case opening.
Finishing: Sew on decorative button. With the 18 inches of yarn
tail that you left at the beginning, sew bottom shut.
