| Crochet Patterns - Baby Blue Afghan

Made for beginners
Materials: Lion Brand *A Pound of Yarn* one for blue
color, and
one for white. Size K crochet hook, and large eye darning
needle.
Stitches used: RVSC (reverse single crochet) and DC (double crochete)
Pattern: Foundation row; Chain 26, DC in third chain from hook (counts
as first DC),
across. 24 DC's.
1st row: (do NOT turn on RVSC row's) ch. 1., RVSC in 1st DC,
and across.
2nd row: Ch. 3 (Counts as 1st DC), DC in loops behind RVSC made
on 1st row.
(across-24 DC's) edging for square. Ch 1, turn. sc evenly around, using three
sc's as corners in four of the DC's in sq...(sc around twice) make as many squares for your desired length of baby afghan.
When down with
all of the squares, after two rounds of edging on each of the squares, using
the large eye darning needle, hook the squares alternately...Make 5
strips of RVSC squares....
Bubble Ruffle Strips: Make 3 for my pattern
With A Pound of Yarn, White, ch 24.
Foundation: Sc in 2nd chain from hk. (TRC in next ch., SC
in next ch., TRC in next
ch) Across....
Row 1: SC in 1st TRC., (TRC in next SC., TRC in next SC)
across....
Row 2: TRC in 1st SC., (TRC in next SC., SC in next TRC.,
TRC in next SC) across
Repeat rows 1 & 2 for desired length of your baby afghan...Fasten off when
done.
Putting strips together. You can use any technique with putting
the strips together. But, I just used the large eye darning needle, with white, I
hooked the white and
blue together evenly.
