Starting at center, ch 12. Join with sl st to form r.

1st rnd: (Sc in r, ch 15) 18 times; ch 6, tr tr in first sc (19 lps).

2nd md: (Ch 5, sc in next lp) 18 times; ch 2, dc in tr tr.

3rd rnd: Repeat last rnd, ending with dc in dc.

4th rnd: Ch 8, turn; dc in last dc made, ch 1, turn; 7 sc in lp just formed (fan motif), * ch 5, sc in next lp, ch 8, drop lp from hook, insert hook in 2nd ch of ch-5, draw dropped lp through, 7 sc in lp just formed (second fan motif). Repeat from * 17 times more; ch 2, sl st in first sc (19 fan motifs).

5th rnd: Sl st in first 4 sc, ch 4, in same sc make tr, ch 3 and 2 tr; ch 3, in 4th sc of next fan motif make 2 tr, ch 3 and 2 tr. Repeat from * around; ending ch 3, join to 4th ch of ch-4 (1 tr-group over each fan motif).

6th rnd: Sl st in next sp, sc in same sp, * ch 7, sc in next sp. Repeat from * around; ending ch 3, tr in first sc (38 lps).

7th rnd: * Ch 8, sc in next lp. Repeat from * around; ending ch 4, tr in tr (38 lps).

8th and 9th rnds: Repeat 7th rnd.
