Fuzzy Chicks
Cute little fuzzy chicks are fun to make with our new
wire-free chenille.
You Need:
- Pastel
Wire-Free Chenille
- Styrofoam
Balls
- 15mm
Wiggle Eyes
- Pipe
Cleaners
- Tacky
Glue or Ultimate
Craft Glue
Instructions:
Using an extra-tacky glue like ultimate
craft glue will make this really easy. Spread a thin coat of glue
all around the top of the styrofoam egg. Beginning at the top middle,
wrap the wire-free chenille around and around, completely covering the
styrofoam. Add more glue as you progress. Let dry. Glue on two wiggle
eyes.
Cut a 2" piece of pipe cleaner. Fold in half and push ends into
the egg under the eyes to make a beak. Cut four 3" pieces of pipe
cleaner. Bend one piece around the a second piece to make three toes and
a leg. Trim toes. Make a second leg. Push legs into the bottom of the
chick.
