Easter Craft Projects - Springy Place
Card Holders

What you need: 1- Spring Clip for each place card (available at craft
stores). Spring clips come in different shapes like flowers, butterflies, etc.
and they bounce around on springs; markers in Easter colors; Glitter Felt in
Easter colors (1 sheet will make about 6 place cards holders); googly eyes;
glue; scissors; 1 sheet white construction paper for name cards. This is an easy
craft project that kids can make too.
What to do:
1. Color the wood shape of your Spring Clip with markers, (This one is a
flower). Be sure to color outer rims of base and shapes.
2. Glue on googly eyes in center of flower or where appropriate on the Spring
Clips you have chosen. With marker make a small smile under googly eyes.
3. Place base of Spring Clip on wrong side of Glitter Felt and draw a circle
around base with marker. Cut circle from felt. Cut slit from 1 edge through to
center of felt circle and slip circle, right side up, over base.
4. Cut 2" x 2 1/2" or 3" cards from construction paper. One
for each setting. Use markers to write names on cards.
5. Place cards in clip behind flower or other shapes of your Spring Clips.
