Halloween Craft Projects - Hand Goblins

Materials: Markers; Yarn scraps of different bright colors; 2 old hankies, plain fabric scraps or felt  approximately 9" x 12", depending on the size of the hand. Beads, buttons, and other trim; Thread; Glue.

Instructions:

1. Draw or trace a mitt-like pattern (see photo below) on a piece of paper that will  fit the hand size of the person who will be using the goblin. Transfer the pattern onto the material you have chosen and cut out two pieces for each puppet you wish to make.

2. Sew all around both pieces, leave the bottom of the mitt open so that a hand may be slipped inside.

3. Use markers, beads, buttons and other trims to make faces. You may also cut shapes from felt to make a witches hat or bunny ears and other creative characters you think of. Glue or sew these pieces on.

4. Slip a hand inside and maneuver the goblin with your fingers as you would a sock puppet.

This is a great craft project for children's Halloween parties.
