Halloween Craft Projects- Mummy Costume
What you need: Old sheet or white cotton fabric;
White tape.
What to do: Wear a light colored or white long sleeved shirt and white
stockings or panty hose beneath the costume. A white sweat suit is great for
cold weather.
Cut long strips of fabric or sheet.
Start by taping one end of a fabric strip to your clothes. Wrap
the strip comfortably around your body, not loose and not tight. Ask an adult or
friend to assist you.
Tape the other end of the strip in place once it has been
completely wrapped around. You can leave some loose ends hanging in different
places about the body so that your costume appears as though you are unraveling
for a scarier look. Continue to wrap your body in this manner until mostly
covered but able to move about comfortably.
Next, wrap your head with additional fabric and leave spaces as
you wrap for your nose, mouth and eyes. You must be able to breath, see, and
speak. Have Fun!
