Halloween Craft Projects -
Witchy Hats
This clever Halloween craft project was kindly contributed by Amber Reed.

regarding this project.
These are great decorations just to set around the house or you can group
them with pumpkins, leaves, etc ...for a nice centerpiece.
What You Need: Black felt squares (I like the ones with the glitter on them):
Orange felt squares:
Card stock:
glue gun: small plastic spiders or bugs (optional).
What to do:
1. Draw a triangle on the card stock. The size depends on what size hat you
want.
2. Wrap the triangle into a cone shape and glue so it will hold.
3. Using the open end of the cone as a guide, draw a circle on the card
stock that is wider than the open end of cone. This is the rim of the witch
hat.
4. Use this circle as a pattern and cut the black felt the same size. Glue
it to the card stock.
5. Cut a piece of black felt to fit the cone and glue it to the card stock.
6. Glue the top of the hat to the rim, and cut a strip of orange felt to
make the belt of the hat. (at the base where the cone is glued to the rim.)
6. glue on a scary spider or bug if you want.
I like to use them in gift baskets or you can fill them with candy before
you glue them together and pass them out to trick-or-treaters.
