Kids craft project for Gardening Gloves
What you need: Sturdy, solid-colored cloth gloves (find out the correct size to fit your
gardener), sketch paper, pencil, waterproof (oil base) felt-tip pens or acrylic
or oil paint and brush or felt and fabric scraps and needle and embroidery
thread.
What to do:
1. Set both gloves, backs up, on sketch paper and draw around them.
Inside these outlines, sketch designs for glove trimming.
2. Make flowers (your gardener’s favorites, if you know them) and leaves
for each fingertip. Use felt-tip pens, paints, or bits of felt or fabric sewn in
place. Draw or sew on flower stems. Make a painted or sewn fabric flowerpot or
bouquet bow at the wrist. For an added personal touch, include the gardener’s
name in the design.
