Craft Project For Kids - Playhouse
What you need: Mom, Dad or other adult to help.
Diagrams below; Six 48" pieces of marine plywood: 3 (4 x 8 foot sheets cut in half);
Wood tacks or strong wood glue (optional); Paint and other materials to decorate playhouse.
What to do:
Each of the square panels has two 1/2 inch slots cut four inches in from each
side halfway down each panel. Each panel interlocks with the next at right
angles. For entry, a 30" diameter hole is cut in the front and back panels.
Note: see diagrams below.
A roof piece made from a 1" x 4" piece joined to a 1" x
2" piece is placed at point where the two roof panels meet.
You may want to secure seams with wood glue or wood tacks.
Simple designs can be applied to the panels with stencils, paint, or other
creative ideas.
