For Kids - Pipe Cleaner Flowers
This is a great project for Daisy Scouts or
Brownies.
What you need: Large pipe cleaners in assorted colors;
glue; scraps of fabric; scissors; florist or jewelry wire; pompons.
What to do:
1. Bend the pipe cleaners into flower petal
shapes and twist the ends together leaving about 1" free.
2. Glue the pipe cleaner petals onto fabric;
cut out each petal from the fabric.
3. With wire, wrap together the one inch ends
of 5 petals, leaving a length of wrapping wire free to serve as stem.
Trim with yarn pompons.
Note: If you like, you may wrap the stems with
florist's tape so they look even nicer.
