Measures:15 inches from scallop to scallop. 

You will need: 1 ball Clark’s Big Ball Mercerized Crochet, size 20, and 5 double pointed knitting needles, size 0.

Abbreviations: k (knit) sl (slip); p (purl) 0 (yarn over); st (stitch) psso (pass slipped stitch over); rnd (round);  tog (together).

Pattern: Starting at center, cast on 8 sts. Divide sts among 4 needles, having 2 sts on each needle. Join, being careful not to twist sts.

Rnds 1, 2: K each st.

Rnd 3: (0, k 1) 8 times (16 sts, counting each 0 as 1 st).

Rnds 4, 5, 6: K each st.

Rnd 7: (0, k 1) 16 times.

Rnds 8 through 12: K 32 sts (8 sts on each needle).

NOTE: Hereafter, work directions as given twice across each of 4 needles unless otherwise stated.

Rnd 13: K 2 tog, thread over twice, sl 1 st as if to k, k 1, psso.

Rnd 14: K 1, drop next 0 from left hand needle, in next 0 work k 1 and (p 1, k 1) 4 times, k 1 (22 sts on each needle).

Rnds 15 through 24: K 22 sts on each needle.

Rnd 25: 0, k 11 sts.

Rnd 26 and all even rnds unless otherwise stated: K each st on each needle.

Rnd 29: 0, k 3, 0, k 4, sl 1, k 2 tog, psso, k 4.

Rnds 48 through 51: K 42 sts on each needle.

Rnd 52: (0, k 1) 4 times, (sl 1, k 1, psso) 3 times, (k 2 tog) 3 times, (k 1, 0) 4 times, k 1.

Rnds 53 through 56: K 46 sts on each needle.

Rnds 73 through 76: K 78 sts on each needle.

Rnd 77: 0, (k 1, 0) 7 times, (sl 1, k 1, psso) 6 times, (k 2 tog) 6 times, (0, k 1) 8 times.

Rnds 78 through 81: K 86 sts on each needle.

Rnd 82: 0, (k 1, 0) 7 times, k 2, (sl 1, k 1, psso) 6 times, (k 2 tog) 6 times, k 2, (0, k 1) 8 times.

Rnds 83 through 86: K 94 sts on each needle.

Rnd 87: K 1, * k 2 tog, 0, k 2 tog, turn, p 1, in next 0 make k 1 and (p 1, k 1) twice, p 1, sl 1, turn. Bind off 7 sts (scallop made— 1 st remains on right hand needle). Repeat from * around, ending with k 2 tog, 0, k 1, turn and complete last scallop. Fasten remaining loop to first st and fasten off. Starch lightly and press.
