Free Knitting Patterns - Easy Knit Shawl

Materials: Eight 50 gr. balls (82 yds per ball) of Rust (or color of choice) novelty yarn, such as mock velour. 1 pair of knitting needles, size no. 9 or size to give gauge. Finished shawl is triangular shaped and measures 80" across top and 45" in length.

Gauge: 10 sts = 4". 18 rows = 4" with no. 9 needles in garter st.

Pattern: Begin by point of shawl. Cast on 2 sts and work in garter st, and every other row, work 1 increase at beginning and end of rows. Work 202 rows and bind off the 204 sts. No fringe is required for this pattern, however, if desired you may add your own fringe.
