Free Knitting Patterns - Cable Headband

Materials: 2 ounces  of 4-ply knitting worsted, 1 pair of #4 needles and a cable hook.

Abbreviations: K (knit) sl st (slip stitch)

Pattern: Cast on 16 sts.

Rows 1, 3, 5, 7: K4, p 8, k 4.

Rows 2, 4, 6: K 16.

Row 8: K 4, sl 4 sts on cable needle and hold to back, k 4, then k the 4 sts from cable needle, k 4.

Repeat these 8 rows until 19 cables have been completed. Repeat row 1. Bind off. Sew; two ends together and steam.
