Hanger Covers

Free Knitting Pattern - Hanger Covers

Materials Required: Heavy rug yarn, 1-70 yd. skein (color of choice). 1 Pr. Knitting Needles No. 9 or any size which will result in stitch gauge below. 3 Wooden Hangers.

Gauge: 7 sts = 2 inches

Note: Hanger instructions are for 3 different patterns

No. 1:Cast on 8 sts. K for 14 1/2 inches. Bind off.

No. 2: Cast on 8 sts, K 1 row, P 1 row for 14 1/2 inches. Bind off.

No. 3: Cast on 8 sts, k 1, p 1 for 1 row.

Next Row: P 1, K 1 across. Repeat last 2 rows for 14 1/2 inches. Bind off.

Finishing (All Hangers): Place section on hanger and sew together. Wind yarn around hook of hanger, glue ends.
