Materials: 1 skein Woolease bonus bundle, Ivory
Sprinkles or 2-3oz. skeins; 1 circular needles size 8 (I used circs because I
can hold more stitches comfortably with them).
Abbreviations: rs: right
side; ws: wrong side; yo: yarn over; (Hint: to yarn
over on a purl side, wrap the yarn around the needle twice); tog:
together.
Pattern: Cast on 4 stitches
Row 1: knit to end.
Row 2: knit 2, yo, knit 2 (rs).
Row 3: knit 2, yo, purl 1, knit 2 (ws).
Row 4: knit 2, yo, knit to end.
Row 5: knit 2, yo, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2.
Repeat rows 4 and 5 until you have 120 stitches on the needles.
Row 6: knit 2, you, knit 2 tog, knit to end.
Row 7: Knit 2, yo, purl 2 tog, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2.
Repeat rows 6 and 7 for 60 rows (half the amount of stitches on the needles).
Row 8: Knit 1, knit 2 tog, yo, knit 2 tog, knit to end.
Row 9: Knit 1, knit 2 tog, yo, purl 2 tog, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2.
Repeat rows 8 and 9 until only 4 stitches remain on the needles.
Bind off and sew in ends
This blanket came out big enough for a comfortable lapghan, or a decent sized
baby blanket. To make it bigger, just keep increasing until you have the desired
amount of stitches on the needle, then do half that amount before the decrease.
