It is more an adaptation of a dishcloth, enlarged to make a soft warm and cuddly blankie. Kindly Contributed by Designer: Leah of Leah's Knittin Fun Page

Materials: 1 skein Woolease bonus bundle, Ivory Sprinkles or 2-3oz. skeins; 1 circular needles size 8 (I used circs because I can hold more stitches comfortably with them).

Abbreviations: rs: right side; ws: wrong side; yo: yarn over; (Hint: to yarn over on a purl side, wrap the yarn around the needle twice); tog: together.

Pattern: Cast on 4 stitches Row 1: knit to end. Row 2: knit 2, yo, knit 2 (rs). Row 3: knit 2, yo, purl 1, knit 2 (ws). Row 4: knit 2, yo, knit to end. Row 5: knit 2, yo, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2. Repeat rows 4 and 5 until you have 120 stitches on the needles. Row 6: knit 2, you, knit 2 tog, knit to end. Row 7: Knit 2, yo, purl 2 tog, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2. Repeat rows 6 and 7 for 60 rows (half the amount of stitches on the needles). Row 8: Knit 1, knit 2 tog, yo, knit 2 tog, knit to end. Row 9: Knit 1, knit 2 tog, yo, purl 2 tog, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2. Repeat rows 8 and 9 until only 4 stitches remain on the needles. Bind off and sew in ends This blanket came out big enough for a comfortable lapghan, or a decent sized baby blanket. To make it bigger, just keep increasing until you have the desired amount of stitches on the needle, then do half that amount before the decrease. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do, Leah
