Patchwork Quilt Patterns: The Famous Ruby McKim Book Plus A Bonus Of
105 Vintage Patterns.
It is all done by cross stitching 343 names, in alphabetic order,
in their correct order of promotion after they passed away. It took one
year and 2 months to cross stitch by hand completely done by me. All in
red, white, blue thread and the chart the last panel I was given permission from
posy@posycollection.com to use in remembrance.
My friend, Shirl Cross quilted the backing, binding and the batting onto
the top of the quilt. The whole top consists of all the cross stitch panels, and
the God bless America material and the folk art material.
Just mainly wanted to share the memory of those wonderful men
from the NYC fire department with you :)
