st in next loop, * ch 4, sl st in next loop, repeat from * 6 times, ch 4,
sl st in next 8 loops, ** ch 4, sc in next 8 loops,
ch 4, sl st in next 8 loops, ch 4, sl st in
next loop, * ch 4, sl st in next loop, repeat from * 6 times, ch 4, sl st in next
8 loops, repeat from ** across length, ch 4, turn.
2nd Row: Sl st in 1st loop, * ch 5, sl
st in next loop, repeat from * 7 times, skip next 8 loop group and next loop, cluster
st in next sc (cluster st: keeping last loop of each st on hook work 2 trc in same
st, thread over and work off all loops at one
time) , ch 4, cluster st in same sc, ch
4, sl st in top
of cluster st just worked for picot,
ch 4, cluster st in same
sc, skip next loop, sl st in next loop, repeat from 1st * across row to
within last 7 loops, * ch 5, sl St in next loop, repeat from * 6 times, ch 3, sl
st in
end st, cut thread.
3rd Row: With wrong side of last row worked
toward you, working along opposite side of hairpin lace strip, attach thread
in 1st 2 loops, * ch 4, sl st in next 2 loops, repeat from * twice, ** ch 4,
sl st in next 8 loops, * ch 4, sl st in next 2 loops, repeat from * 11 times,
repeat from ** across row to within last 16 loops, ch 4, sl st in next 8
