Valentine's Day Craft Projects -
Popcorn Wreath
This is a great project to create with children.
What you need: 6" straw heart wreath; Popped popcorn;
Small wooden heart cutout, approximately 1
1/2"; 24" length of raffia (one or more
strands); Red paint; Craft Glue.
What to do:
1. Cover inside of wreath with white glue and
allow to dry until just tacky. DO NOT allow to completely dry.
2. When glue is at tacky stage, add popcorn to
inside of wreath.
3. Repeat steps one and two for outer edge of
wreath, front and back of wreath until completely covered.
4. Paint wooden heart shape red and allow to
dry.
5. Allow wreath to completely dry overnight
6. Make a bow with the raffia and glue to
center top of wreath, then glue the red heart to the center of the bow.
