Victorian Craft Projects - Floral Shade Pull

What you need: "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN; 9 yds. each of
green and rose; Steel Crochet Hook No. 9.;
A floral,
plastic shade pull.
What to do:
1st rnd: Attach green to any sp on outer edge,
sc in same sp, * ch 1, drop green, pick up rose and, working over green, make sc
in next sp, ch 1, drop rose, pick up green and, working over rose, sc in next
sp. Repeat from * around, ending with rose, ch 1. Join.
2nd rnd: Change color and, working with green
only, sc in next ch-1 sp, * ch 3, sc in next green sp. Repeat from * around.
3rd rnd: * Pick up rose and, working over
green, make 5 sc in next sp, change color, working over rose, make sc, ch 3, 3
dc, ch 3 and sc in next sp, drop green. Repeat from * around. Join and break
off.
Cord: Cut 2 strands of each color, each 1 yd long.
Double green strands, loop rose through green and double, twist these
strands tightly, then double at joining and give them a twist in the opposite
direction. Knot free ends. Sew cord in place.
