Victorian Craft Projects - Victorian Tree Skirt

This is an easy project which takes under an hour to make.

What You Need:

5 yards of white or ecru dress net (70 inches wide) This will make two skirts one for you and one as a gift.

5 yds. of 2" wide lace ribbon (gold, pink, burgundy or silver)

What to do:

1. With small running stitches sew the ribbon along the long, cut edge of the net.

2. Spread the net in a circle around base of tree, having the two ends of material meet at the back of tree and the lace ribbon at outer edge of circle.

3. Crush net casually around base of tree.
