Christmas Craft Projects - Wood Mittens

What you need: Small amount of scrap pressed wood (about 12" x 12"); Small amount of red paint for heart pattern; patterns below; jigsaw; small amount of fiber cording; drill to make hole for hanging cord.

What to do:

1. Cut 2 mitten patterns from wood.

2. Drill hole at center cuff of each mitten as shown.

3. Transfer heart pattern to center of each mitten as shown in photo above and paint red. Allow to dry completely.

4. Thread cording through holes in mittens and tie in knot for hanging.

Note: These also make cute tree ornaments if used singly.

Patterns are actual size but can be enlarged if desired.
