Christmas Craft Projects - Holiday Recipe Holder

What you need: 1 plastic cap (hairspray or spray paint cover); styrofoam ball (size to fit cover); glue gun/glue stick; Plastic fork; Spray paint (green or red); small sprigs of holly berry; 1 holiday recipe.

What to do:

1. Spray paint the fork and cover in color desired (contrasting colors creates a nice effect) Let dry completely.

2. Place the styrofoam ball inside the plastic cover. Cut to fit if necessary.

3. Push fork handle into center top of styrofoam ball. Remove fork and put a small amount of glue in hole where fork was. Replace fork immediately so it bonds with the glue. Do not put too much glue in hole as it may melt the styrofoam. You may want to just place some glue on the fork and reinsert it.

4. Place a small amount of glue on the stems of each holly berry sprig and press the stems into the styrofoam ball  all around the fork.

5. Place the recipe you have selected between the tines of the fork so that the tines hold the recipe in place.

You may add a bow or some other holiday  idea to the cover.
