Christmas Crochet Patterns - Christmas
Tree Balls
This Christmas crochet pattern was kindly contributed by designer Taz.

Materials: Size H crochet hook; small
amount of yarn; handful of cotton fill; yarn needle.
Pattern: Chain 3 and connect with a slip stitch to form a ring.
Round 1) crochet 10 hdc into ring. ch 2.
Round 2) crochet *1 hdc into first hdc and 2 hdc into next hdc.*
rep from * to * to end of round. ch 2.
Round 3) crochet 1 hdc into each hdc. ch 2 at end of row.
Round 4) *dc2tog, 1 hdc into next hdc.* rep from * to * to
end of round. ch 2.
Round 5) dc2tog 5 times. ch 2 at end of row.
To finish: use a yarn needle and about 12 inches of yarn to thread a
piece of yarn through the remaining stitches. Insert the cotton
filling. Then, pull the string tight like a drawstring to close
the opening and tie a knot. Tie the end of the string in a loop to
create a way to hang your ornament. Merry Christmas!
